Dr. Khoa Tran received his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in Physiological Sciences, then went on to pursue his dental training at the prestigious UCLA School of Dentistry where he was among the top of his class.
After dental school, Dr. Tran completed a year of intensive surgical training at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX. He then completed his surgical residency at Allegheny General Hospital, in Pittsburgh, PA. Here, he received extensive training in medicine, oral and maxillofacial surgery, trauma, and safe and effective anesthesia.
Dr. Tran also completed his general surgery internship and served as chief resident of the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery during his final year at Allegheny General Hospital.
